American publishing company Simon & Schuster has announced the release of a new book titled What Happened by Hillary Clinton, former Democratic presidential candidate, on September 12. In an intriguing narrative, the book recounts Clinton’s reasons for failing to win the presidential elections from her own perspective.
The book chronicles what Clinton was thinking and feeling during one of the most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections in history, according to the synopsis released by the publisher.
In her book, Clinton takes readers inside the intense personal experience of being the first female presidential candidate of a major party in an election marked by rage and sexism. She also highlights the issue about her emails that she claimed were stolen and later leaked to media.
A Lebanon-based publisher, All Prints, Distributors and Publishers, brought out the Arabic edition of Clinton’s book Hard Choices in 2015. In her memoir, Clinton wrote about her experiences as the US Secretary of State between 2009 and 2013.
