Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) launched on Sunday morning, September 23, the 10th edition of Al Ain Book Fair at the Al Ain Convention Centre. The event will run until October 2, 2018 with the participation of 92 exhibitors from publishing houses and government organization.
Besides the latest literary, scientific, academic and educational titles, the Fair hosts a selection of authors and writers to showcase a variety of intellectual issues and creative experiences.
A special section is also dedicated for children aged 6-12 under the title ‘Creativity Corner’ that include a set of activities including ‘Iftah Ya Simsim’ shows. Children section features seven themes: “Comics”, “Reading”, “Planet of Science”, “Smart Challenge”, “Scientific Presentations”, “Entertainment Shows” and “General Competitions”.
